Installation

Installation is as simple as uploading the files to your site, and installing a fieldtype.

EE2.x Installation

  1. Upload the maps folder to your system/expressionengine/third_party/ folder
  2. Upload the maps themes folder to your themes/third_party/ folder
  3. In the EE CP, in Fieldtypes, Install Maps
  4. Now that you've installed the fieldtype, you'll also need a Google Maps API Key Get one here

That's all there is. You're ready to get mapping!

Bonus! You can also set the Google Maps Api Key in your site's config. Just add a variable named 'maps_api_key' and that'll be used in place of any setting set in the database
