Updating Detour Pro

Extremely Important! It is highly recommended that you make a backup of your database before you update Detour Pro on EE2 or EE3. If an old version of Detour Pro exists, installing a new one will modify the Detour tables and uninstall the old version of Detour.
Update Detour Pro on EE3+
Copy Installation Files
Copy the detour_pro folder from the download folder to your site's /system/user/addons/ directory.
Copy the /themes/detour_pro folder from the download folder to your site's /themes/user directory.
Navigate to Add-Ons and in the Updates tab, click on Update Detour Pro.
Update Detour Pro on EE2
Extremely Important! If Detour (non-pro) is installed, see instructions for updating to Detour Pro
Copy Installation Files
Copy the detour_pro folder from the download folder to your site's /system/expressionengine/third_party/ directory.
Copy the themes/detour_pro folder from the download folder to your site's /themes/third_party/ directory.
Install Module and Extension
Navigate to Add-Ons > Modules.
Click on Install in the Detour Pro row.
EE2 Detour to Detour Pro Update Instructions
Detour Pro will automatically update your current version of Detour to the pro version. All of your detours will already be in Detour Pro upon installation. The installation process will also uninstall the old Detour extension.
If you uninstall the old Detour extension (or reinstall and then uninstall it), you will lose all of your Detour data; DO NOT DO THIS!To update from Detour to Detour Pro, leave Detour installed and following the installation instructions for Detour Pro.
